They are investing heavily in their data capabilities, with an ongoing transformation designed to modernise their platform, improve data quality, and enable the responsible use of analytics and AI across the business. You will join a collaborative team where data plays a central role in decision\u2011making and future strategy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Data Governance Manager, you will shape and deliver the governance framework that underpins the company&#8217;s cloud\u2011based data strategy. You will work closely with data engineering, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, well\u2011managed, and responsibly used. Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designing and implementing a modern, scalable data governance strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Defining data domains, ownership structures, and stewardship models.<\/li>\n<li>Establishing policies for data quality, lineage, access control, and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Leading DPIAs, LIAs, and broader privacy\u2011by\u2011design processes.<\/li>\n<li>Setting up governance frameworks within GCP and supporting tools such as Dataplex, Informatica or Collibra.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out risk assessments, permissions management, tagging, and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Partnering with stakeholders to embed governance principles in day\u2011to\u2011day workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the onboarding of teams into a new GCP\u2011based data platform as part of a wider transformation programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will bring strong experience in data governance alongside the ability to operate hands\u2011on within a modern cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong commercial experience designing or embedding data governance frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Hands\u2011on experience with cloud\u2011based governance tools and metadata\u2011driven approaches.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of GCP (Dataplex, BigQuery) or similar platforms; Azure Purview exposure is a bonus.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with SQL and the impact of governance on engineering workflows<\/li>\n<li>Experience producing DPIAs, LIAs, and supporting regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work confidently with both technical teams and business stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Background in a regulated environment is advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What They Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary up to \u00a375,000 plus
