You will guide engineering standards, lead cloud and platform modernisation, and have influence over future strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE COMPANY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This established organisation is investing heavily in modern data platforms and scalable engineering practices. With a cloud\u2011first mindset and a collaborative culture, they are building the foundations for advanced analytics and machine learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE ROLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this Principal Data Engineer role, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the migration to modern cloud platforms, such as Azure which is enabling the business to do Machine Learning and Analytics.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and upskill junior engineers, promoting engineering standards.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Terraform and Databricks to deliver scalable, governed data solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of data pipelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful Principal Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong commercial experience working with Azure.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Databricks and Terraform.<\/li>\n<li>Confident mentoring and guiding engineers across teams.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to containers and Kubernetes is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of ML Ops principles is beneficial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful
