They&#8217;ve got technically advanced teams across the wider business and are now building out a core engineering team to unify, elevate and support that community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 12.0pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">THE ROLE:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;\">It&#8217;s a strategic, hands-on role where you&#8217;ll work closely with DevOps, Product, and business partners to unlock the value of data through modern, secure and governed pipelines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">\n<ul style=\"direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Lead hands-on development work using Azure, Databricks, and Terraform (IaC)<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Support the migration from legacy platforms to a more modern cloud stack<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Act as a mentor and technical guide to the wider engineering team<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Implement data governance requirements <\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns to business needs<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Stay close to the ML lifecycle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-left: .375in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">A successful Principal Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Strong hands-on experience with Azure<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Proficient in Databricks<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Skilled in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Exposure to containers\/Kubernetes<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\">Awareness of ML Ops concepts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">THE BENEFITS:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Aptos; font-size: 12.0pt;\">You will receive a salary, dependent on experience.
